1: Communicating with Decision Makers - Building Advocacy

the story of Cooperative Extension is a job for all
of us. This session will focus on communication "tricks
of the trade" advisory leaders and Extension educators
can use back home. In this session, participants will
learn"

public policy
- proper
methods to communicate with policy makers, steps to
build positive relationships with policy makers,
- role
of advisory leaders in annual budget processes, and
fundamentals of marketing Cooperative Extension's
impact on policy makers and stakeholders.
