Session 2:  Communicating with Decision Makers - Building Advocacy

There is no "I" in TEAM. It takes all types of people to not only "make the world go around," but also to make groups work. All of us have been in situations where we have struggles with narrowing the focus of a group and moving towards outcomes. This session was developed to:

  • effectively create successful groups,
  • understand the uniqueness each of us bring to the group because of differences in generations and personality traits,
  • manage conflict in groups, and
  • involve advisory groups throughout the program development process.
